Get the Lead Out is a coalition formed to protect the public from lead poisoning. Our focus is on vulnerable populations: young children, pregnant women, and workers.

We come together to pool our resources and to create positive social change.

We created this website for two reasons:

• To be a Bay Area clearinghouse for information about lead poisoning. We can link you with a range of lead information, local organizations, and programs.
• To encourage members of the public and other environmental organizations to join us on specific actions to reduce lead exposures.

Many of our members already have websites that deal with lead poisoning prevention. We showcase their work by linking you to their sites or to other online locations for deeper information about specific topics.
